About This Sellier & Bellot 7.62 x 39 Ammunition

Unlike most Americans, we can say at least one thing about the Czech Republic: Sellier & Bellot is headquartered there, and they make good ammo that’s used by cops, hunters, and recreational shooters the world over. (Just don’t ask us to say two things about the Czech Republic.)

This 7.62x39 cartridge goes in your AK-47 when you want it to do more damage. Its 124 grain soft point bullet offers conventional ballistic performance, and goes on to deform and spin around inside of a target to inflict a wider wound channel. A lot of people hunt deer and hog with this kind of ammo – but we all know that the AK wasn’t invented for hunting.

In contrast to a lot of other manufacturers in their neck of the woods, Sellier & Bellot loads their ammo only with brass shell casings. Even a more finicky rifle should have little trouble tearing through these rounds. Sellier & Bellot also uses Boxer primers, making these shells nice and reloadable, and clean burning propellant on top of that.
