This 9mm Luger self-defense ammunition was developed by Corbon in cooperation with the renowned Thunder Ranch firearms training facility in Lakeview, Oregon. It is a +P load firing a light 115 grain solid copper hollow point bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,250 feet per second. This combination results in strong recoil for a 9mm Parabellum cartridge but also expansion potential with just the right amount of penetration to bring down an assailant with reduced risk of collateral damage.Corbon ammunition is loaded in Sturgis, South Dakota and uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases. The DPX line (of which this ammo is a part) is lead-free due to its use of copper bullets.
