Magpul’s magazine offers up a suite of features that’ll make your AR-15 or M4 a greater tool for recreation or personal protection. This one nicely sports a window on either side, so you’ll be able at a glance to see how many rounds you’re toting. It’s hard to drop thanks to its grippy surface, but even if you do manage to send it plummeting it’ll be no worse for wear owing to its impact resistant polymer construction. This mag feeds with the utmost reliability as well, as it’s got a black oxide coated USGI-spec stainless steel spring, anti-tilt self-lubricating follower, and optimized internal geometry.

A Gen M2 MOE magazine is every bit as well-made and dependable as Magpul’s other PMAG magazines, although it lacks the pop-off impact/dust cover which locks out debris. That makes it a touch more affordable, although you could buy the piece separately if the need for it arises.
