This round features a 145 grain full metal jacket boat tail bullet. Its jacket makes a bullet like this less than optimal for whitetail and other critters, but its economical design is ideal for target practice, and its balanced jacket and core create the rotational stability you need to zero in hundreds of yards out.

The bullet’s streamlined profile and 2,838 fps muzzle velocity out of a 24” barrel give it a 0.204 G7 ballistic coefficient. Not as high as some of the polymer tipped matched bullets, but still perfectly capable of a precise trajectory in a competent shooter’s hands.
