About This Federal .40 Smith & Wesson Ammunition
It’s kind of wild, when you think about it. That little chunk of .40 caliber steel and polymer? It can one day save your life. But only if you know how to wield it. Don’t assume you’ll get the hang of things when your life’s on the line. Do your training with Federal Champion 40 S&W ammunition now so we have a higher chance of retaining you as a customer.
Champion ammo is built and priced for high-volume plinking and training. Its Minnesotan creator keeps its cost lower by loading it with plated full metal jacket projectiles, which have thinner, weaker jackets than traditional FMJs, and therefore aren’t able to safely glide across barrel or compensator ports. In other words: this ammo’s not for ported barrels/comps.
This ammo is otherwise fit for action in all makes and models of firearms. Its 180 grain bullet and 1,000 fps (4” barrel) muzzle velocity grant it a power factor of 180.0, so it’s sure to actuate a semi-automatic. This ammo is also packaged neatly: in 200-round boxes, each of which lines its contents up on four plastic trays.
