5.56X45 FEDERAL AMERICAN EAGLE 55 GRAIN FMJ (500 ROUNDS)
The best thing about the newspaper? It’s definitely the funnies, because they’re the funnest part to shoot. “Eat lead, Nermal!” is a commonly shouted line at my gun range. I consider it payback for all those years of tormenting Garfield.Do you want to get creative with your plinking targets, too? Here: have a whole lot of Federal Premium American Eagle 5.56x45 ammunition.
You can get much more serious about this round’s 55 grain full metal jacket if you want to. Its bullet basically makes the round an M193 (i.e. the standard stuff of Armed Forces gun ranges), so you can take it out a few hundred yards if you can squint hard enough to see over such a distance.
The FMJ is the vanilla bullet of the semi-automatic world. It’ll put a nasty hole through any living being, albeit not the kind deer hunters favor for their craft. If your aim’s good, then there’s nothing stopping you from slipping an FMJ through swine vertebrae.
There’s no steel in this ammo; not in its new brass cases, and definitely not in its bullets. It’s also not old military surplus. It was made just for you.
