About This Sellier & Bellot 6.5MM CREEDMOOR AmmunitionThis 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge by Sellier & Bellot is as fit for competition as it is for regular fun at the range. It features its caliber’s rather common 140 grain projectile, which wears a full metal jacket made of CuZn 10 to prevent barrel leading and ensure smooth feeding. This bullet very nicely sports a boat tail which raises its ballistic coefficient to .548. With that you can expect very flat shots which facilitate long distance shooting, as well as ones which are better immunized against the effects of wind drift. This bullet will not begin to expand upon impact, although we can’t imagine that would prohibit it from turning a varmint into a piece of modern art.
Sellier & Bellot is one of the oldest companies in the world, having gotten their start making percussion caps for the French army back in 1825. They’re the dominant ammunition manufacturer by far in the Czech Republic where they’re headquartered, although their state of the industry production facility and great attention to quality have rightly earned them a far reaching international presence.

Customer Reviews of this 6.5 CREEDMOOR SELLIER & BELLOT 140 GRAIN FMJBT (500 ROUNDS)

This ammo shoots very well at 300+ yards. It also was the cleanest ammo of all the ones I ran through the ultrasonic. All other manufacturers were dark black water, these were gray at best. Rifle cleaning was minimal after 100 rounds.
