This 7.62x54r cartridge by Wolf features a 148 grain projectile. It’s the lighter bullet that superseded the original 210 grain load for its caliber in 1908, aptly named Лёгкая Пуля, or “Light Bullet.” The bullet wears a hard bimetal jacket, suiting it perfectly for day long target practice and training where you wouldn’t want barrel leading to impact your rifle’s accuracy.

As a Military Classic, this round’s casing is coated with Wolf’s proprietary PolyFormance in order to help it feed and extract sans issue. Wolf is well known for their ammunition’s steel casings, which are not suited for reloading but do a marvelous job of making high volume shooting more affordable. This round’s non-corrosive Berdan primer and clean burning propellant will work together to lessen the need for frequent cleaning.
