This Silver Bear ammunition, manufactured at the Barnaul Machine Plant in Russia, is an economical round for 7.62x54mmR rifles such as the Mosin-Nagant, SVT-40, and Dragunov. It is new production ammo and uses non-corrosive Berdan primers to help preserve your rifle's bore and reduce your maintenance burden. The zinc-plated steel cases, while not reloadable, provide good feeding and ejection as well as reduced fouling in comparison with lacquered rounds. Some cleaning of zinc oxidation may be required.First introduced in 1891, the 7.62x54mmR (for "rimmed") cartridge is one of the longest-serving cartridges used in Eastern Europe, and still sees military use in the Dragunov designated marksman rifle and PKM machine gun due to its good long-range performance, which is competitive with that of .308 Winchester / 7.62 NATO.

Posted onhaven't had a chance to see what the grouping is but at 160 meters im able to hit on the mark of a 2' disk 9/10 shots
