They’re light, which means (A) Federal got away with investing less metal into their manufacture, and (B) they hit just barely supersonic muzzle velocity out of a 4” barrel without accompanying over-pressurization. Like all of Federal’s handgun bullets, these Minnesota-made rounds’ FMJs are steel free. They cannot attract a magnet!
