Federal plugs up each case mouth with a quality 115 grain full metal jacket. The FMJ won’t expand upon striking soft tissue, but it does everything else right. A round nose profile that promotes smooth feeding. A steel-free jacket that poses a lower risk of damaging range equipment. Posted onAfter reading some reviews and doing a little background check on the Federal brand ammunition. I was confident enough to make the order for 1000 rounds. The price at its current point in the time of purchase was okay for me and upon receiving it and using about 200 rounds over the weekend in my 43x, it didn’t jam not one time or do any weird misfiring like you hear from other brands or casing that are not brass. I know I have to do more than 1000 rounds to master handling of the gun but so far i was happy and impressed with how fast the ammo came. I do have one complaint about how I received my ammunition: the first box i picked up and opened had 3 of the 4 casing in it holding the bullets the ends were cracked off leaving about 4 or 5 rounds nowhere to be found but the box was still packaged up as tho it was a brand new untouched box. That part was a little shakey to me but maybe it was a little mishap on their part hopefully the next package gets handled a little more delicately. I also do like that you can ask to require a signature as an option if you don’t want your ammunition just being delivered and left out in the open for anyone to take. Overall i want to give the shopping experience a 10/10 but because the ammo did show up with a cracked case and missing a few rounds but still packaged up as tho it was brand new i have to a point down because technically i did not receive 1000 rounds. I would recommend to a new user reading this to give it a shot and see if you like it, the price is good and they really do have your ammo at your doorstep in about 2 business days. Although if you choose the adult signature required they will not drop it off to your address without a legal 21 year old to accept it with a signature. So just make sure you or a legal adult is at the address when they are delivering.
