Posted onI have used almost all of the 750 round case. My initial impression was that the steel cases looked like they have a parkerized finish. Every round fired just fine and worked in a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield, other full-size auto loaders, and 9 mm carbine. Carbon fouling was not significantly different from other Winchester ammunition. The only downside of this round is having a few occurrences where bullet jacket fragments came back when used on commercial steel plates at 30 feet or more. No longer use it on steel but still a good round for paper or other shoot through targets.

Posted onGreat service but very dirty AMMO. I used latex gloves to load my magazines, what a mess. No ftf, fte so that is good however I will not order again nor will I recommend to a friend. I will wear gloves for loading and use it up

Posted onI also did not read the fine print and thought I was getting a deal ! I would have never purchased steel cased ammo (its brass for a reason) I will stock it back for a rainy day I guess but I was most displeased with my purchase and will not buy again

Dirty ammo

Posted onMy bad I did not get from the ad when it said "forged" that it meant steel cases. I don't know what is used as a rust preventative on this ammo but after loading one clip my hands were filthy and that has got to mean that my pistol was going to be filthy too. Its like each bullet is coated with graphite powder. Not that I don't clean it after use but I see no reason to make it dirty. Its Winchester ammo no jams shoots well but I would not buy again and I would not recommend.
