Here’s the situation. You want to order an entire 1,000-round case of 9mm ammunition so you can blast targets at the range until your widdle heart’s content. But what you don’t want to do is spend a whole bunch of do-re-mi on brass cases.

Here’s what you oughta do: order yourself a case of Magtech Steel. These range loads were made in Brazil with brand new zinc-plated steel cases – the reason why they’re priced noticeably lower than brass-cased ammo! This ammo isn’t reloadable, but it is loaded with noncorrosive primers and nonmagnetic projectiles. Very nice!

This ammo’s 115 grain full metal jackets are the perfect bullets for target shooting. They don’t have any features which enable terminal expansion. They have hard gilding metal shells to promote reliable functionality in semi-automatics. They reach supersonic muzzle velocity so long as they are fired through a 4” barrel or longer.

    It’s a mite sticky in new guns/mags, but some of that is to be expected from steel. Once everything is broken in and loosened up, it runs real well in my Ruger Security 9.
