Posted onIve stockpiled and used imported steel case ammo for a couple of full decades with great success. Thid has mostly consisted of Wolf and Barnaul with Barnaul being my favorite and to be honest probably because its name sounded a bit more professional. In these times though if one only has to pay an additional $10-$15 more for brass case they might want to go that route not only for its ease of reloading but also for its scrap value with copper being the primary metal used in the alloy called brass. With the economy about to go full commode one never knows when they might wish to sell off some scrap old brass cases for...........a can of Alpo for grandma. Thanks Mr.Biden and thanks Democrats as it was ya'all that got us here.

Posted onI've fired 10s of 1000s of rounds of this stuff , the $20-50 less per case vs brass adds up. I use it mostly in Glocks , it's hot enough to run in my Glock 19 I put a 20lb spring in for +P. Accurate range ammo. I've had the occasional FTF and my last case had a few rounds with bad crimps that wouldn't allow the round to chamber. But for 220 a case, 5 or so bad rounds at the range is acceptable. I blast this stuff up so fast I basically just order a case a week so it's on the way when I'm getting low . Ammoman ships fast unlike most ammo distributors where you're waiting 2 weeks for your order
