They’ll have to make their own dinner, though, because you won’t be around to do it for them. You’ll be too busy mastering your handgun to give those cows a second thought!Winchester hasn’t done anything strange or inventive while designing this round. They gave it the steel-free full metal jacket it needs for compliance at ranges which prohibit “magnetic” ammo. They made that bullet 115 grains, which is light enough to secure a zippy 1,190 fps muzzle velocity in conjunction with a 4” barrel. That’s supersonic, which makes this ammo a less-than-optimal choice for suppressor use. The FMJ will not expand or deform significantly after it sinks into soft tissue, so it’s also not optimal for personal defense. (Still plenty capable of the job, of course!)
Winchester doesn’t stop creating quality once they’ve finished making the bullet. Posted onThe Winchester 9mm 115gr FMJ is my favorite range ammo... I have ordered many cases of this ammo from Ammoman in the past and recently founfr (and finished off about 800 rounds that were squirelled away somehow for nearly 20 years. Still functioned perfectly, 100% 0 failures to fire and 0 jams in a new pistol (Sig 365 Rose xl Comp.). I will be ordering many many more in the future Plus some SD ammo as well.
